LB Design Recruitmentis working with an award-winning, multi-disciplinary architectural practice known for delivering large-scale residential development projects across the UK. Their clients include national and regional housebuilders, developers, and SMEs.
Following continued success and growth, they are expanding their newly established Guildford office and are now recruiting for the following key positions:
- Senior Architects (must have strong housing/layout experience)
- Part 2 / Part 3 Architects
- Layout Designers
- Masterplanners
About the Roles
Successful candidates will work on a wide variety of residential schemes, from large-scale developments (50–500+ plots) to bespoke one-off housing. Involvement will span across design, planning, and technical stages, including preparation of Vision Documents and Design & Access Statements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of a UK-based Undergraduate Degree in Architecture or relevant qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working on residential projects in a UK practice or with a developer
- Minimum 2 years' proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Photoshop and InDesign
- Good understanding of UK planning system and residential design
- Full UK driving licence or motorbike licence – must be within a commutable distance to Guildford.
- Full, permanent right to work in the UK - must have proof of eligibility
Desirable
- Interest in Urban Design
- Experience of working with UK developers
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, or other Adobe Creative Suite tools
