£35,000 – £42,000 DOE + Bonus
LB Design Recruitment are working with a small but growing architectural practice located in Southampton to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist / Technician. The practice was set up in 2019, they have since experienced rapid growth and are now looking for their next key player to join their team. They work on a mix of residential, commercial and community projects.
Ideally you will have 3+ years post-qualification UK-based professional experience and be proficient in AutoCAD or Revit (currently using AutoCAD but planning to change over to Revit).
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the design and delivery of systems and systemisation of internal office processes and documentation - RIBA Stages 0-5.
- Obtain and input client brief, client details.
- Undertake measured surveys with Architectural Technicians/Architectural Assistants.
- Work under the guidance/support of a Project Architect.
- Liaise and coordinate with Project Architects for delivery of discrete portions of work.
- Check work produced by team members.
- Produce planning proposals (RIBA Stage 3) (sometimes) & offer practical construction inputs into RIBA Stage 2-3 works.
- Deliver Building Regulations (RIBA Stage 4) proposals, technical design proposals (RIBA Stage 5) and specifications sufficient to complete projects on site.
- Attend and organise client and project team meetings.
- Manage and coordinate subconsultants and team members.
- Assist in the preparation of Specifications, Schedules of Work and product choices and other such information.
- Assist in the design and delivery of general architectural project work.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and specifiers by phone and email.
- Build and maintain client and subconsultant relationships.
